Students completing the three-year BSc in Business Administration degree program can opt to specialize in Human Resource Management to obtain an Honors degree. To support a structured academic journey and targeted career preparation, students are required to select Human Resource Management as their preferred specialization at the commencement of the program. This ensures that internship experiences and practical training are relevant and beneficial to their professional development in HR.

Upon successful completion of the three-year BSc in Business Administration degree program, students can specialize in the discipline of HRM for another year (Fourth Year).

  1. A minimum of three “S” passes in the Commerce stream of the G.C.E. (A/L) examination, obtained in a single sitting.
  2. A minimum of three “S” passes in any subject stream of the G.C.E. (A/L) examination, obtained in a single sitting. However, the applicant must also pass an aptitude test conducted by GETI.

At the completion of this program, participants will be able to:

  • Demonstrate advanced HRM capabilities by effectively managing talent acquisition, development, and retention while aligning HR strategies with organizational goals.
  • Apply leadership, emotional intelligence, and strategic HRM skills to foster organizational culture, employee engagement, and sustainable workforce performance.
  • Integrate comprehensive business knowledge with specialized HRM expertise in areas such as labor law, performance management, organizational behavior, and HR analytics to support informed decision-making.
  • Communicate professionally and empathetically with a diverse workforce, using advanced interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills essential for HR professionals.
  • Hybrid: Lectures will be conducted on weekends allowing students to balance academic learning with practical exposure. A continuous assessment system will be implemented to ensure consistent engagement and quality learning outcomes.
  • At GETI, lectures are conducted on Saturdays and Sundays, allowing students to balance academic learning with practical exposure.
